It operates under a public-private partnership (PPP) model involving the Ministry of Education (MoE), the Government of India, the Government of Rajasthan, and industry partners. IIIT Kota is currently mentored by MNIT Jaipur and now functions from its permanent campus located in Ranpur, Kota. The campus spans 100.37 acres, allocated by the Government of Rajasthan since 2021. About Institute DIRECTOR'S MESSAGE Welcome to Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kota. Since its inception, in 2013, IIIT Kota has accomplished many milestones and covered an illustrious journey in last 13 years. As one of the Premier Institutes, that is a joint venture of the Ministry of Education and Government of Rajasthan with 4 strong Industry Partners in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode, the institute has come a long way. From an intense Hackathon and thrilling Esports sessions to engaging speaker talks and competitions like Byte Break, Robo Soccer, and Botanical Bid, the fest witnessed enthusiastic participation across campus. Each event brought together 100–150 students, showcasing talent and teamwork. The grand Carnival and DJ Night at the Cricket Ground added vibrant energy to the fest, making it a truly memorable experience. Despite minor scheduling changes, Eigen 2026 stood as a resounding success. The successful organization of Eigen 2026 was achieved under the esteemed guidance and unwavering support of N. P. Padhy (Director, IIIT Kota), Rohit Bhakhar (Registrar, IIIT Kota), K. K. Sharma (Coordinator, IIIT Kota), all Deans, Associate Deans, Coordinators and everyone who contributed and participated in making this event unforgettable! . Sanshray’26 – Alumni Meet at IIIT Kota March 28, 2026 Sanshray’26 – Alumni Meet at IIIT Kota brought alumni together for a warm and memorable reunion, filled with vibrant performances and meaningful interactions Women’s day 2026 March 9, 2026 In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Women’s Cell/ICC at IIIT Kota hosted an inspiring Open Mic session titled “Her Voice Matters.” The event offered a vibrant platform for women to share their journeys and aspirations, with each story reflecting strength while fostering inclusivity, confidence, and mutual respect. Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 October 27, 2025 The institute is observing Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 from 27th October to 2nd November 2025, in line with the nationwide initiative led by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC). The theme for this year, “Vigilance – Our Shared Responsibility,” emphasizes the collective role of individuals and institutions in promoting transparency, integrity, and accountability. During the week, IIIT Kota is organizing a series of activities including integrity pledges, awareness talk, essay and poster competitions, and interactive sessions to sensitize students, faculty, and staff about the importance of ethical conduct and good governance.
