Our Achievements IIIT Kota is proud of its students' achievements in various fields, including research, academics, and extracurricular activities. Our students consistently demonstrate excellence and bring accolades to the institute. IIIT KOTA JOINT WINNERS IN SMART INDIA HACKATHON PROBLEM THEME: CLEAN & GREEN TECHNOLOGY SIH25105 (HYBRID RENEWABLE ENERGY GENERATION SOLUTION) Smart India Hackathon 2025 (SIH 2025) was the 8th edition of India’s flagship open innovation competition where student teams from across the country developed technology-driven solutions to realworld problem statements issued by ministries, state departments, industries, and public sector units. The grand finale of the SIH 2025 Software Edition took place on December 8–9, 2025 at multiple nodal centers nationwide, bringing together finalist teams selected to work intensively over a 36-hour period. 2025 edition received a total of 68,766 teams, with 271 problem statements (191 software and 80 hardware), and an overall participation of 8,26,635 students across the internal and national stages. Three teams from IIIT Kota participated at SIH 2025 across different nodal centers. Besides Return 0_af98a at Jaipur, Team Knights participated in the Hyderabad nodal center, and Team Eureka_0i9ps participated in Mohali Center. These teams tackled Problem Statements SIH25105, SIH25099, and SIH25011 respectively. The problems were issued by the Government of Rajasthan (DTE), MathWorks India, and the Government of Punjab. IIIT Kota Team, Return 0_af98a comprising of Harshita Yadav (2023KUEC2047) – Team Lead, Vipul Dixit (2023KUEC2033), Gurnish Singh Sangha (2023KUCP1082), Prateek Sharma (2023KUCP1068), Ishan Bagra (2023KUCP1076), Jai Taneja (2023KUCP1079) tackled the problem SIH25105 (Hybrid Renewable Energy Generation Solution for Rajasthan under Theme Clean & Green Technology). They participated in Nodal Center at Poornima Institute of Engineering Technology Jaipur. They shared the Winner (First) Prize with Delhi Technological University and the prize money of Rs. 1.5 Lakhs was divided equally and Return 0_af98a secured Rs. 75,000/-. It is a matter of pride that IIIT Kota is the winner in one of the 271 problems among all Institutions across the country. This intensive 24-hour innovation & tech-driven marathon saw participation from 360+ teams and over 1440+ brilliant participants from leading institutions nationwide. Amidst such strong competition, Team Xcalibur distinguished themselves through exemplary innovation, technical proficiency, and collaborative excellence. This remarkable accomplishment reflects their dedication, creativity, and commitment to excellence, bringing immense pride and honor to our institution. Student of IIIT Kota (ARC Robotics Club ) has achieved remarkable success at Zonals 2025 held in Bhopal. Two teams from the club showcased exceptional skill and innovation, securing top positions in the competition. Team Xcalibur clinched the 2nd Position, featuring: Mitul Rishi, Saurabh, Prashant, Tanishq and Team Arc Reactor secured the 3rd Position, featuring: Aman Kranti, Sumit, Lovepreet, Bhaskar. With this outstanding performance, both teams have qualified to represent IIIT Kota at Techfest, IIT Bombay, in the Grand Finale of Meshmerize – the autonomous robotics challenge. Teams are tasked with developing a line-following bot capable of navigating a complex maze with precision and efficiency. During the Dry Run, the bot explores the maze, maps directions, and identifies the endpoint. In the Actual Run, it utilizes stored path data to retrace the shortest route to the endpoint. This event tests participants’ abilities in memory mapping, sensor integration, and control optimization, pushing the boundaries of autonomous robotics. Demonstrating exceptional analytical ability and scientific aptitude, Mitul Rishi secured the prestigious Silver Honour, Securing a spot among the top 8% worldwide out of 12300+ brilliant minds from over 140+ countries. This remarkable achievement highlights not only his dedication and brilliance but also the commitment of IIIT Kota to nurturing globally competitive talent. The IAAC is one of the world’s most renowned competitions in astronomy and astrophysics, attracting thousands of participants from across the globe. Achievement Details Silver International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition (IAAC) Silver Medallist Mitul Rishi Winner – Code with Cisco Grand Finale 2025 🏆 Kanishq Tahalyani, a student of IIIT Kota, emerged as the winner of the Code with Cisco Grand Finale 2025, competing against 35,000+ participants nationwide. Out of this pool, only the top 75 students from premier institutes including IITs, NITs, and IIITs were shortlisted for the finale. In collaboration with his randomly allotted teammates, Kanishq secured the 1st position, receiving an iPad and an interview opportunity with Cisco as recognition. The finale featured a problem statement based on quantum computing, a completely new domain, where the team showcased exceptional adaptability, quick learning, and innovative thinking. This remarkable achievement highlights the talent and dedication of IIIT Kota students on national platforms. 🏆 Team ARJUN Wins Amdocs GenAI Graduate Hackathon 2025 Team ARJUN, featuring Tarsh Swarnkar, Aaryan Anil Kumar Singh, Kanishq Tahalyani, and Himanshu Rautela, emerged victorious at the Amdocs GenAI Graduate Hackathon held in Pune this April. Outshining 11,500+ participants from over 300 colleges across India, the team showcased their innovative spirit and technical brilliance. After four intense months of ideation, prototyping, evaluations, and expert mentoring, their project – AI Career Hub – stood out for its real-world impact and originality. The platform leverages AI to offer career guidance, intelligent video proctoring, smart resume analysis, and real-time counseling, empowering students to navigate their careers with confidence and clarity.
